Civil Design/Drafting Technologist

We require a Civil Design/Drafting Technologist to become an integral part of our multi-disciplinary teams working on water supply, storage and retention, mine water and urban stormwater drainage, flood and erosion protection, geohazard remediation for roads and railroads, and environmental assessment and remediation projects. This career opportunity is available in our Edmonton office.
This role will give you the opportunity to produce AutoCAD designs and drawings for a variety of projects while learning and developing new skills.
If you are currently registered or eligible to register as a C.E.T. or C. Tech. in Alberta and have 1 to 3 years of work experience on related civil engineering projects, we want to hear from you!
We value your:
- Capabilities using the latest version of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience editing and processing topographic and terrain mapping data files
- Geometric and earthworks (excavation and fill) design skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within project teams to produce quality deliverables in an efficient manner
- Solid track record in the preparation and filing of engineering drawings in accordance with established quality management standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of GIS arcview and map3d (would be an asset)
- Experience preparing structural and reinforcing steel drawings (would be an asset)
